Hong Kong Hospitality Trade Fair Opens With Global Brands and New Culinary Innovations

A major food and hospitality trade show has kicked off at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three-day exhibition, named Restaurant, Bar & Café Hong Kong, brings together more than 400 international brands from 11 different regions alongside over 9,000 industry delegates. The gathering was formally launched by Dr Bernard Chan Pak Li, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, with backing from regional bodies such as Invest Hong Kong.

This year's showcase features eight distinct sectors, ranging from organic goods and spirits to cutting-edge hospitality technology. Attendees can view new items debuting in Asia, including specialised packaging scales, premium Wagyu beef, and unique tableware. Visitors are also exploring dedicated spaces like the Eco-Innovation Hub and the Japan Sake & Spirits Pavilion. Additionally, the event is held alongside the Retail Asia Conference & Expo to foster cross-industry partnerships and technological integration.

Throughout the event, several honors and activities are scheduled to highlight culinary excellence. Highlights include restaurant and bar awards, wine masterclasses, a barista tournament, and a food safety seminar focused on nutrition for older populations. Organised by Informa Markets, the gathering remains strictly restricted to trade professionals and media personnel who are at least 16 years old.
