Popular highway travel center giant Buc-ee's is advancing plans to establish its second outlet within North Carolina. The store chain is targeting a suitable site in the Gold Rock neighborhood, which lies adjacent to Interstate 95. This proposed commercial establishment represents another significant footprint for the brand in the region as it looks to build a brand new mega station for travelers passing through.
Before any construction work can begin, the selected real estate in the Gold Rock zone near the highway must undergo a formal rezoning procedure. To keep local citizens informed and address potential questions regarding the commercial development, an informational public meeting has been arranged for Thursday. This neighborhood discussion will be held in Rocky Mount, giving nearby inhabitants a chance to hear full details about the upcoming project.
The travel store chain is famous across the country for operating massive facilities that routinely feature well over 100 fuel pumps. Despite the large number of fueling points available, the company maintains a strict policy against allowing big commercial rigs on its premises. Drivers often visit these roadside outlets not just for fuel, but also for their wide array of food options, famous spotlessly clean restrooms, and a distinct character mascot derived from the creator's name.
