South Korean tech giant Samsung has officially commenced the worldwide release of its One UI 9 software update, bringing the latest system features and interface improvements to its premier line of mobile devices. Among the primary smartphone ranges benefiting from this major software release is the flagship Galaxy S25 series, which has started receiving the finalized, stable edition of the operating system.
Alongside the flagship S25 family, Samsung is actively deploying the stable One UI 9 build to its newest flexible screen devices, namely the Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Galaxy Z Flip7. This deployment represents a major step in the company's efforts to deliver its newest Galaxy user experiences to a wider selection of consumers. At the same time, handsets in the previous-generation Galaxy S24 series are also receiving a fresh software update.
In addition to these active software deployments, Samsung has officially referenced One UI 9.5 for the first time. This public mention offers the very first formal confirmation of the upcoming software iteration beyond the current version. As the stable rollout of One UI 9 progresses for the S25 line and the latest foldables, users can look forward to exploring the new features provided by this software generation.
